Very idyllic little mountain lake in the Bernese Alps. During summer, there are cows around and allow you some typical swiss images. Great hiking area aswell!

Photography Tips

Be there in early morning to catch nice reflections. There's a hotel close by the sea, if you wanna be there even before the first bus arrives.

Travel Information

Best way is to take the bus ("Postauto") from Meiringen (daily service during summer months). You can also drive by your own car, but the road is narrow and there's a fee to pay.
