This spot provide a nice view to the Grand Chavalard mountain (alt. 2901m) with some interesting foreground elements. The hike itself provide many other photo opportunities along the trail and later when you'll reach the mountain village of Isérables.

Photography Tips

The mountain range (behind me on the picture) will hide the sun for most of the morning, so it's probably better to go there late morning. In the evening the sunset will be right on the left of the mountain.

Travel Information

Fun hike that will start at the cable car parking in Riddes, going up the side of the mountain you'll reach the village of Isérables. You can go back down by cable car (every 30 minutes).
