The colorful shoreline of Lake Natron is painted in shades of red, pink and orange by salt-loving microorganisms and mineral-rich waters. Set beneath the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment, this shallow alkaline lake creates an otherworldly landscape that shifts with the light and water levels.
