United Arab Emirates View from dune near Qasr Al Sarab Hotel
This spot, just behind the Anantara Qasr Al Sarab hotel in the Liwa Desert, allows you to climb a nearby dune in about 10 minutes and take in sweeping views of the endless desert landscape. From the top, you see uninterrupted dunes stretching as far as the eye can reach. The spot is tranquil, rarely crowded, and it's especially memorable at sunset as the sunlight intensifies the dramatic colors of the sand and sky.
Travel Information
To reach the dune near Qasr Al Sarab hotel, drive from Abu Dhabi via the E11 and E65 highways toward Liwa Oasis. After reaching the resort, the dune is a 30–45 minute walk away. If you don’t have a car, take a bus to Liwa Oasis and then a taxi or hotel transfer to the resort.
