Another great location in the UAE for Landscape and Astro photography, very dark almost no light pollution (we chose this spot next to a little resort on purpose to get the light pollution glow) but 10 minutes from this spot its pitch black.

As always with these desert spots, don't go alone, take loads of water and don't wander into the dunes at night, at least not to far.
