United Kingdom City of London
London's modern City Hall has a striking, bulbous shape derived from a modified sphere, meaning the building has neither a conventional front nor a back. Each floor is slightly offset from the one below it, so that it protrudes beyond one side of the building. As a result, it has been compared to a motorcycle helmet, a “glass egg,” a misshapen egg, and a woodlouse. Excellent at twilight when it lights up against the night sky.
Photography Tips
Visit early or late as there are often large crowds. Watch out for the water fountains to add another layer.
Perfect location for all who like modern buildings. Many angles to catch the building.
