South of Claonaig, at the crossing of road B842 and the creek Allt a' Bhuie an ancient oak wood has remained. A path leads through this primeval forest with diverse ferns, mosses and lichens.
After a few minutes in this area you wouldn't be surprised to meet elves, fairies, dwarfs and other fairy tale characters.
