The Buachaille Etive Mòr is a well known mountain in the Highlands of Scotland at the end of Glen Etive. It can easily be seen from the A82 road by traveling from Glasgow to Glen Coe and Fort William. The River Etive flows right in front of the giant mountain and has some nice little waterfalls.

Please, please, take your photographs from the road and do not walk over the moor to the waterfall spot.
Since people have been encouraged to walk over the moor to take photos at the waterfall there are photographers at that spot every evening and morning. What was, until a few years ago, an area of pristine heather and sphagnum moss with rare plants is now just a waterlogged, churned up, wasteland (see my photographs).
Instead of selfishly capturing the beauty in one direction, turn around and see how much you are destroying the beauty elsewhere.
