Rogie Falls are a small series of waterfalls on the river Black Water near the village Contin. This spot is easy and quick to reach and can easily be taken along when you're passing by.

Photography Tips

Cross the river by walking over the suspension bridge and take the stairs to get under the bridge. There is the remaining concrete pier from the old bridge. At least I think this is what it might be. Now climb that thing and get on top of it for the perfect view. Carry a tripod, ND-filters and a polarizer to avoid reflexions for stunning long exposures.

Travel Information

This spot is kind of popular for tourists as it is signposted from the main road A835. The falls have its own car park with toilets and a small picnic area.
You can reach the spot by foot in about 5 minutes.
