The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451 and is one of the oldest universities in Europe. This spot is all about the old and breathtaking architecture.

Photography Tips

Try to stand in the middle of the hallway to create a symmetrical picture with the pillars. A wide-angle lens like the 16-35mm is highly recommended. As far as the university is a famous tourist attraction a lot of people may be walking through this hallway. Try to take long exposures (if needed with ND-filters) to get rid of those people if you have not enough patience to wait for the perfect moment.

The University of Glasgow is a bit beyond the city centre, but it can easily be reached by public transport. The entrance is free.
