United Kingdom Brick Lane

Interesting street, with an interesting history. Today, it's mostly the centre of the Bangladeshi community. However, there are interesting markets and many excellent Asian restaurants. There are also interesting spray-painting in the area. When the markets are here, it's really alive.
The name Brick lane is historically derived from the brickyard that used to be here...
The streets around Brick Lane and White Chapel are also connected to Jack the Ripper.

An interesting place for street photography especially during the markets that are held here.

Walk heading east from the Gherkin skyscraper along Leadenhall street - Aldgate East tube station or from Shoredish High Street station
