United Kingdom Lambeth Bridge

A dramatic riverside bridge lit at night, where architectural arches meet shimmering reflections on the water. Great for moody, colorful long-exposures and contrasty cityscapes — perfect if you want striking night shots with clean leading lines and strong reflections.

Bring a tripod, use low ISO (100–400), and try a slow shutter (1–6s) to smooth the water and deepen the colours. Shoot in aperture priority or manual at around f/8–f11 for sharpness, manual-focus on the bridge, and bracket exposures so you don’t blow the highlights. Compose to include some reflection and a bit of sky; small changes in angle massively change the reflection pattern.

This is a central riverside location — easiest access is by public transport (Tube or bus) and then a short walk along the river path. There’s usually limited parking nearby, so plan to walk from the nearest station or use river-side pedestrian routes.
