United Kingdom Ely Cathedral, Cambridge.
This shot was taken in Ely Cathedral at the back near to the Octagon.
Photography Tips
First things first. I didn’t enjoy my trip here. Flashes are not allowed. Tripods can be used however you a have to pay £10 for the privilege. Entrance fee is also an additional £10 too. A further fee is required to gain entry to the upper level too.
Take a decent lens and camera capable of shooting in low light. The lighting is not great. Look for moody lighting, architectural style, etc. Visit on a sunny day to take advantage of the beautiful interior.
As mentioned I didn’t enjoy my trip. I was constantly hounded by a few staff members who accused me of taking photos of people and whether I was shooting commercially which isn’t allowed allegedly unless you pay them.
Try to pick a day when they’ve no functions on.
