United Kingdom Stoer lighthouse
Point of Stoer is a truly magical place. It is very wild landscape with rocky cliffs. There should not be too many people, and at sunset you may be alone with the wind and the lighthouse (which apparently is a guesthouse).
Photography Tips
Bring your wide angle lens and tripod, and prepare for windy conditions.
Travel Information
Come by car and follow the sign "Point of Stoer", there is only one road coming here. Park at the end of the road, just before reaching the lighthouse. There should be enough parking places for the (small) number of visitors. You will have to walk 5 to 10 minutes before reaching the cliff and the rocky foreground. The footpath can be very humid, prepare good shoes to avoid your feet being wet.
