Manhattan Beach Pier is one of the most iconic piers in California aside from its neighboring Santa Monica Pier. In December, the pier is dressed up as Christmas Tree making for a unique winter beach feeling.

Photography Tips

Great place to set up an HDR shot and get the best of both worlds, however with crowds at virtually all times of the day, I chose to let the pier stay as a silhouette and focus on the sunset.

Travel Information

I recommend always taking Ubers or Taxis in socal due to the difficulty of parking anywhere. There is a beach parking lot right at the pier, but if you plan on staying a while and not driving yourself crazy waiting for a spot, pay for a ride to drop you off and get to business.
