Fort Rosecrans has got to be the most scenic cemetery I’ve ever seen. It's peaceful and serene. Beautiful and excellently maintained. It's worth the time to stop when you are on your way out to the lighthouse Point Loma.

The cemetery is located 15 km west of Downtown San Diego, overlooking San Diego Bay and the city from one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.

I can't agree more on the beauty of this cemetery. I've been there in 2011 and was so impressed that such a stunning landscape was used for a cemetery, probably making this one just because of the location, one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen.
