This is a terrific spot to photograph Half Dome without the crowd of Glacier Point.

Use a medium telephoto lens. Go there at least an hour before sunset.

Travel Information

There is parking on the side of the road for about 4 cars. If you can't find parking, continue on and park the car at the Glacier Point parking lot and walk back to this spot.
