USA Mt Shasta & The Barn
I lovingly refer to this as the "Oh Shit Shot". I was heading to a spot where the 99-97 Cutoff looks like it's going right up the base of Mt. Shasta. At the point on the map, however, I happened to look out of my window, and I said, "Oh shit". Hence the name.
Photography Tips
The shot is partially of private property, but it's taken from a state roadway. Even so, I would be courteous if someone approaches you.
Travel Information
From I5 and Grenada in Northern California take the Highway A12 exit for 99-97 Cutoff heading east. The spot is 6.1 miles on the right (south) along the road.
