USA Oceanside Pier
Historic Pier in Oceanside, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The pier area is a hub for the Oceanside community with a small amphitheater just to the south side of the pier. Also located nearby as a tourist attraction, the house from the Top Gun film was relocated to a spot just across from the pier.
The end of the pier used to feature a restaurant and a small food kiosk burned down in April 2024. The end of the pier is in the process of being rebuilt, and as of February 2025, it was stripped down to the pylons.

Photography Tips
The pier is a very popular place to watch the sunset, both on and next to the pier. It's not as crowded for sunrise. In the mornings, you'll see more people out for their morning fitness routines around the pier.
Travel Information
Paid parking lots and parking meters dot the street, so expect to pay for parking if you come by car. The Oceanside Amtrak station is within walking distance and is also a hub for the local North County Transit District transit system. It is possible to visit without coming in by car.
