D.L.Bliss is located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe and is the start of a trail that winds from this point to Emerald Bay. Expect granite rocks, beautiful water and tiny rocky coves.

Photography Tips

As of 2023 the park is temporarily closed but you can park on the road and hike in. If you hike in bring water and plan for a relatively strenuous cardio workout on way back out. When park reopens, plan to go early before crowds.

Travel Information

It is located north of Emerald Bay on Highway 89 between South Tahoe and Tahoe City. Road is tricky in winter - best times are late spring and summer
