This spot is one of the best in Chicago to get a good shot of the skyline. Especially sunset or night photography is amazing at this place. I took this photo on my way to Adler Planetarium at daytime because these clouds looked so beautiful.

Photography trick: Hold your camera down to the water surface to change the look of the reflections, but please take care of yourself and your equipment!

Travel Information

Parking is available for the Adler Planetarium, but you can also use the local trains or buses of Chicago to get to this spot. I walked all the way from Grant Park to enjoy this beautiful view all along the shoreline.
