Travel Information

The trailhead is north of Church Wells, Utah 3.9 miles from Hwy. 89 via Wells Street/7060/7065. It’s 9.6 miles from the Toadstools Trailhead in Utah or if starting in Page, Arizona it’s 16 miles west of the “Welcome to Arizona” sign. The last 3 miles is a well maintained dirt and sand road. There’s one wash crossing that could be problematic for a 2WD vehicle after a heavy rain. There’s potential for deep sand for the last half mile but when we were there, the road was hard packed sand suitable for a Volkswagen Beetle.
