The beautiful historical lights of the illuminated panels of the Chicago Theatre and the modern city are a perfect contrast, even in colours with the warm lights and the cold colours of the skyscrapers.

Photography Tips

A tripod is highly recommended for shooting this spot. It gives you the additional opportunity to combine the building with light trails of cars that are crossing your frame.
Blue hour is a great time for this spot because you have the lights already on and the warm colours of the building are a great contrast to the blue colours during this time.

Hey dear Harini, you can also comment the photo itself by clicking the speech bubble icon left to the like button below each photo. That ensures a better feedback to your question from the person you are really asking. In general I would simply recommend to pay less attention to the settings itself because they heavily depend on the amount of light that's still available during blue hour or night. I love to start with bulb mode and simply press the shutter manually on my remote control to have 100% control of which cars are in my long-exposure. If you see that it's too bright with for example 10-15 seconds during blue hour, it's always a good idea to simply capture each car trail one by one and simply multiply them in Photoshop afterwards to simply get more car trails within a single photo. Hope that helps you and feel free to ask if you have any questions. Manuel
