USA George Barker River Park
Nestled behind the hustle bustle of Springdale, Utah, this quiet little park offers an escape from the crowds visiting Zion National Park and provides a very different perspective of the mountains of Zion.
Photography Tips
The cottonwood trees lining the banks of the Virgin River would make this an excellent autumn location.
Travel Information
The park entrance is located on SR9 just 0.2 mile west of the Chevron gas station in Springdale or 1.2 miles northeast of Wild Thyme Cafe. Ample parking, picnic tables, and restrooms. This used to be a dog park but was recently improved and expanded. Dogs are still allowed.
