USA Thompson Pass
Thompson Pass is only 855 metres high, but is the place with the most snowfall in Alaska. The annual average is 1400 cm. Until 1950, the Richardson Highway was therefore only usable in summer. Just north of the pass is the picturesque Blueberry Lake. Great mountain panoramas open up at the top.
