USA Sensorio, Field of Light
Sensorio is an area featuring numerous illuminated works that change colors throughout the display. Fields of Light is a display of lights over rolling hills. There will be lots of other people wandering the paths. The best time is blue hour and 30~45 minutes after for the sky to still have some color and contrast. Have a small, low-power red flashlight if you plan on changing the lens. It is very dark on the paths; however, there are small walkway lights for safety.
Photography Tips
Sensorio does not allow tripods of any sort. Photos here require very high ISO (6400+), lens/camera stabilization/noise suppression software. Typically, 1/15 at F2.8~4 at ISO 6400 will work. If using the camera's meter, expect to use a -2~3 EV compensation to avoid blowing out the lights. While very challenging, the results are worth it. Use a burst of photos to capture a sharp photo when using a slow shutter speed. Brace yourself against the railings to increase steadiness.
