USA Whitefish Point Beach

Whitefish Point marks the eastern end of an infamous 80-mile stretch of shoreline known as the Lake Superior Shipwreck Coast. Of the 550 known large shipwrecks that lie at the bottom of the lake, at least 200 are located near Whitefish Point.
The Canadian shore opposite can be seen from here. The sandy beach is strewn lots of driftwood. People look for ‘treasures’ among the beautiful pebbles on the beach.
