USA Whiskey Row Lofts

This row of preserved historic façades along Main Street, known as Whiskey Row, showcases some of Louisville’s most iconic 19th-century architecture. The exposed steel structures behind the facades give the street a gritty, industrial edge, making it a compelling subject for black-and-white photography and long-exposure street scenes.

This location works well during golden hour, blue hour, or under dramatic skies. A wide-angle lens (24–35mm) helps emphasize the repeating architecture and linear perspective. Long exposures can create motion in the sky or streets, while midday shots bring out textures and brick detail. It's a versatile subject for architectural, street, and urban landscape photography.

Located on East Main Street between 1st and 2nd Streets in downtown Louisville. Metered parking is available along Main and nearby side streets. Sidewalks are wide, and the area is pedestrian-friendly for slow-paced architectural shooting.
