The sun set quickly emphasizing the Christmas Lights on Temple Square and silhouetting the heavily scaffolded LDS Temple in Salt Lake City. This view from State Street allowed all those components to be combined.

Photography Tips

A tripod would be helpful. I did not have one with me on the trip and had to underexpose at 400 ISO to avoid motion blur. There is still more noise in the image than I would generally like to see.

Travel Information

Car or light rail will take you to City Creek Shopping Mall. Abundant parking is free for the first two hours.
