USA Bentonite Hills

This area is known for its vividly banded clay hills, shaped by erosion and mineral-rich sediments. Layers of red, purple, gray, and pale blue fold into each other, creating a terrain that feels almost painterly when seen from above. The surface is soft and easily carved by seasonal runoff, forming intricate channels and dome-like ridges across the landscape.

From the ground, the scale can feel confusing, but from above the color patterns and flowing forms reveal themselves clearly.
