USA Crystal Geyser
Accordongly, this is not a geothermal but a cold water / carbon dioxide geyser. It erupts up to 40 metres or higher, but only at intervals of sometimes eight, sometimes 22 hours.
A remarkable field of yellow to ochre-coloured sinter terraces stretches along the riverbank of the Green River. A pipe is fixed above the outlet of the geyser, presumably to direct the escaping water straight upwards.
