USA Avenue of the Giants
It is very difficult to depict these giants, to convey their size and awe-inspiring grandeur in photos: Coast Redwoods. They are the tallest trees on earth, up to 113 metres tall and probably up to 2000 years old. Humboldt Redwoods State Park is home to the largest remaining stand of old-growth redwoods, mixed with Douglas firs. You can cross the park on the tarmac Avenue of the Giants.
