The east side of Zion is very different from Zion Canyon and has endless photo opportunities. You don’t have to walk far from the highway to find unique perspectives.

This park is extremely busy. As with any winter landscape, the earlier you can get there the better if you want to photograph untracked snow.

From the Zion National Park east entrance, drive west for one mile (1.6km) to the pullout on the north side of SR9.
