USA Cedar Breaks National Monument - Point Supreme Viewpoint
Cedar Breaks National Monument is far less crowded than the nearby national parks, Bryce and Zion. Point Supreme is an easy walk from the Visitor's Center, which has plenty of parking.
Photography Tips
There are trails along the rim of the mesa that give many different views, but good views are also easily accessible from parking areas. Move around until you find a view where the sun gives you pronounced shadows on the eroded rock. Without the shadows, it will be difficult to see what you've photographed.
Travel Information
There is plenty of parking at the Visitor's Center. There's less parking at some of the vistas. Keep in mind that the elevation is more than 10,000 feet (3200 meters). If you're not used to the elevation or if you have breathing difficulties, you may find even the short, accessible walks challenging.
