USA Chimney Rock - Capitol Reef National Park
These photos were taken near the start of the Chimney Rock Trail. An easy path leads along the valley floor. For those interested in a longer, more vigorous hike, there is a loop from here that takes you to the top of the mesa.

Look for angles that give shadow relief on the cliffs. Take advantage of foreground elements to provide a sense of scale and balance.
Travel Information
The parking lot for the Chimney Rock Trailhead is right off Utah State Route 24. There is plenty of parking available, and lower parts of the trail should be accessible to almost every visitor.
