The Schwarzensee is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in this area. The Sölktäler are a nature preserve, so its perfect, if you want to see an authentic landscape.

Travel Information

From the Ennstal take the turnoff at Stein an der Enns to Kleinsölk. Then further to Breitlahnhütte.
It is quite easy to reach by foot, a smooth walk for 40 minutes. You can hike further for 30 minutes to the Putzentalalm - definetly worth a visit. A real authentical alpine cabine.
