Absolutely beautiful area for hiking with plenty of trails along and above the lake.

Beautiful place for photography without specific requirements - best time to go in the month of June - no crowds and awesome wildflowers along the way, don´t need perfect weather to enjoy.

Travel Information

You can get there by car, except for the last few minutes - you have to take a bus or go for a hike
There is also a bus from Mayrhofen which takes you to the reservoir (ca 1 hr).
