The Aggenstein is a 1986 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps with a great mountain panorama as far as Germany and the Austrian Alps.

Photography Tips

A wine-angled lens captures the entire panorama. Also the blue hour after sunset is worthwhile as you can see here on the picture.

Travel Information

Parking lot near Grän / Enge. Trail leads through forest and small rivers up to Bad Kissinger hut. From there it continues to the summit. Be careful when the first snow falls. The last piece is a small climb. Duration one way circa 2.5 hours at 4.3 km and 770 meters altitude.
