The Litnisschrofen is a 2068 meter high mountain in the Allgäu Alps, from where you can enjoy a fantastic mountain panorama all the way to the Zugspitze.

Photography Tips

Even if it means extra luggage, a telephoto zoom lens makes a huge difference. So if you have space in your rucksack, pack it. This picture here was taken with 450mm.

Travel Information

The return trip takes a total of 5 hours with a total distance of 13 kilometers from the marked parking lot with 970 meters of altitude each. The last section of the hike has a climb that can be tackled without your own rope. However, you should be sure-footed and experienced.
