Canada Tombstone Mountains Reflection
There are many picturesque stopping points along the rugged Demptser Highway in northern Canada. Most have no names.
Photography Tips
To the degree possible given the dirt / gravel road conditions, always be prepared to stop for a photo when travelling along the Dempster. While the road is open year round, most will travel in the summer through fall as it is warmest, with plenty of daylight. Being so far north, winters have little if any daylight.
Travel Information
Be careful to pull as far off the road as you can when stopping along the Dempster for photos. There is a significant amount of truck travel along the route, and they do not slow down as they pass stopped vehicles.
