Canada Tombstone Mountains Overlook
There are many unnamed stopping points along the Dempster Highway - a rugged road that runs to the Arctic Ocean in northern Canada.
Photography Tips
Be sure to plan ahead - being so far north, the light changes dramatically by the season. To the degree possible, keep an eye peeled for great photo stops as you travel along the rugged Dempster.
Travel Information
Travel along the Dempster Highway is not for the faint of heart. It is ~900 kms (one way) of gravel between Dawson City and Tuktoyaktuk. Be well prepared, with food, water and spare tires (2 are recommended as flats are very common). There is NO cell service outside of the very sparse communities along route.
