The spot lies to the west of the cathedral in Santiago de Cuba. The advantage: Due to the elevated position of the cathedral, the photographer has a relatively good look at the first floor of the houses on the opposite side. The survey image with the cathedral on the left hand side clarifies the situation.

The sujet is nice. Unfortunately I tend to dislike that overdone HDR-Look.

Hi, thanks a lot for the comment. HDR is - like other styles in photography - controversial. I just like to experiment and exploit the possibilities of modern digital cameras. Regards,

No offense meant. In a different look I would have liked the photo, that's what I meant to say. And of course styles are controversial. That's where the spice comes from ;-)
