Pointe de Pern is the western extremity of the island. And it is probably the most dramatic location with Nividic lighthouse and its ruined pylons.

Renting a bicycle is very popular, but not very convenient for landscape photographers who have to lug an heavy backpack and a sturdy tripod : the island is not so flat and it is often very windy. Better to rent a car (there is one single garage on Ouessant) or use a taxi.
Summer is definitely not the best period: Ouessant reveals its best mood with a tough weather. April would be my best recommendation.
