Ouessant island is very iconic of french Brittany. It is an amazing place to hike, and the coastline is very photogenic. Pern point is one of the wildest spots.

Photography Tips

The coastline is really nice at sunset or sunrise.
Take time to visit the surroundings as there are many photo opportunities. Best season is summer (for calm weather sunny days) or spring (for more wind and waves). The landscape is very different depending on the tide.

Travel Information

You can reach the island by plane from Brest, of by boat from Brest or Le Conquet. Once on the island, rent a bike as it will allow you to go everywhere. Take a raincoat and a headlamp in your backpack.
