Go there during sunset and stay there until skies turning blue. That's when the lights of the Eiffel turn on.

Travel Information

One need to walk past the Seine river over a bridge from the Trocadero Gardens and get down to the banks. This particular spot is only accessible with a river cruise. I took "Bateaux Parisiens" and I can recommend them since they have an upper deck which is not covered.
