Germany Blockland, Bremen

The Bremer Blockland, located north of Bremen, was recognised as one of the city’s most distinctive cultural landscapes. Characterised by its wide marshlands, dykes, and traditional farmhouses, the area developed through centuries of land reclamation and water management along the Weser River.
