Greenland Charcot Havn from a sailing boat, Scoresbysund

Charcot Havn is a small natural harbor on Milne Land, surrounded by rugged mountains and the Charcot Glacier. The area is ideal for hiking, with open tundra and gentle slopes offering beautiful views across the bay and surrounding landscape.

Go out for a sunrise even if it's in the middle of the night. If you are lucky you get a nice reflection with golden light next to icebergs and a sailing boat.

Therefore use a wide angle landscape lens and see how stable your handheld photography is. If you create an unsharp images, increase the ISO a bit.

Also on the boat you can watch out for nice foreground or framings like the bull-eye window.

Scoresbysund is one of the most remote places you can reach in Greenland. There are no roads or infrastructure here. The area is explored by sailing boat, smaller expedition vessel, kayak or multi-day guided kayak trips, with August to roughly mid-September being the best window to experience it. Just around 500 people coming per year.
