Qeqertarsuaq is a small, colorful town on Disko Island, surrounded by dramatic red-black basalt mountains and the waters of Disko Bay. Especially impressive here is how these colorful houses are sitting right in front of massive icebergs which are floating around in the ocean.

Photography Tips

Personally, I love to create minimalistic space. If there is a lot of distraction around objects, which you don´t like to have, find foreground to hide them. This creates a soft layer and potentially more color as well.

Travel Information

Walking in the village will give you the best impression on the life and surroundings. Just go wondering and explore on foot. It's all in a quite easy walking distance.

Please be aware to not wonder off as much from the streets and ways.
