There are lot's of hikes to do.
A very nice summit to visit for some stunning views is: Valahnúkur. Relatively easy climb.

Travel Information

You can get there by car. but you have to cross multiple rivers. Some are not advised to do yourself if you don't have experience.. there are in the summer season busses that bring you to the volcano huts where all hikes start.
