Along route 1 it is worth stopping at Estrahorn and Hvalnes Lighthouse. However, these are not the only two spots on site. Also interesting is the back of Vestrahorn on the left, which is otherwise only known in combination with the black beach "Stokksnes".

Photography Tips

Telephoto lens to get the mountains close enough and seagulls bigger. Rainproof clothes for the camera or cleaning cloth.

Travel Information

Descend along route one. You can't miss the Lighthouse. You can just park there and leave the rest to nature.
